Alanya weather and unique climate

Alanya Weather

Alanya is a resort city on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It beckons with sunny, charming and fragrant greenery, majestic mountains and turquoise waves of the Mediterranean Sea!

The city has a very special climate due to its unique location. The city is surrounded on one side by the Mediterranean Sea and on the other by the majestic Taurus Mountains, which protect it from the cooler continental weather. It is a capsule with an incredibly pleasant microclimate, widespread greenery and a healthy environment.

In Alanya you can swim in the warm waters of the sea and in half an hour you can find yourself in a pine forest on a mountain slope or in a mountain valley and fish for trout from a mountain river or go even higher and walk on real snow!

The subtropical Mediterranean climate prevails here, so summer is hot and rain-free for almost 9 months of the year. Winters are mild, soft and rainy, with rain from December to March and not a single cloud in the sky for the rest of the year!

Alanya is one of the warmest resorts in the Republic of Turkey, with air and water temperatures always higher than in other resorts. With moderate humidity from the sea and mountain rivers, Alanya is one of the most comfortable holiday resorts. Therefore Alanya has one of the longest tourist seasons from mid-April to mid-November.
